Kellogg, citing ‘values,’ joins growing list of companies that pledged to stop advertising in Breitbart News – The Washington Post

Kellogg recently disappointed us by discontinuing Product 19. Seriously. It’s the best cereal ever. But there is redemption: The company, citing “values” in a way that really does speak to actual values, has joined an ever-increasing list of companies that now declines to advertise at Breitbart, “alt-right” mouthpiece and conduit for the sensibilities of white nationalist and Trump advisor Steve Bannon. Good. In all senses of that word.

From the WaPo story:

The company cited concerns that Breitbart News, which has been described by many as portraying alt-right ideals, does not align with its values. The term “alt-right” is described by the Southern Poverty Law Center as “a set of far-right ideologies, groups and individuals whose core belief is that ‘white identity’ is under attack by multicultural forces using ‘political correctness’ and ‘social justice’ to undermine white people and ‘their’ civilization.”
